Discover your best health through Lifestyle Medicine!
Throughout my career as a family and geriatric nurse practitioner, I’ve worked with patients at every stage of life. In addressing their symptoms, I’ve noticed commonalities among those who make poor lifestyle choices; they’re often the ones to develop inflammation and common chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue.
How can we help these individuals make better choices every day, so they can achieve their own optimal health? Through Lifestyle Medicine.
By focusing on nutrition, movement, sleep, relationships, managing stress, and avoiding risky substances, individuals can set themselves up for a lifetime of health and vibrancy. They can free themselves from the conditions that most of us take medication for.
This is exactly what I’ve dedicated my career to supporting. Through education, encouragement and support, I empower my patients to make small changes in their everyday choices. Over time, those small changes add up to create major lifestyle transformations.
My specialties include:
Lifestyle Medicine
Mental Health
Comprehensive health assessments
Medication reviews, reduction & simplification
Laboratory testing
Drug testing
And more….

Programs & Employee Health:
Developing a wellness program?
Throughout my career, I’ve developed and led many wellness programs including Just Walk With Your NP (a chapter of Walk with a Doc), Cooking Up Confidence, Mental Health First Aid Training, Blood Pressure Management, and various Weight Management programs. These initiatives support the physical and mental well-being of all populations. Are you interested in creating your own program or starting a chapter?
While I work with individuals, I’m also a passionate supporter of employee health. Over the past 7 years, I’ve developed and managed an Employee Health & Wellness Clinic. I’ve also overseen medical care for over 500 employees, and 1,500 individuals with intellectual disabilities. During the pandemic, I served as the point of contact for COVID-19 management.
